I have some questions about Trac. I have a project on my "main server"
that is synced to multiple backup servers, one way sync. In the event
some data gets lost I can go retrieve it from said backups.
However, I am concerned if data gets corrupted on the main instance and
synced to the backups. If data were to become corrupted on my wiki pages
(and tickets) would Trac detect this and tell me so I would know not to
overwrite my backups with corrupted data?
Same question for attachments, I noticed since Trac 1.0 attachments are
no longer stored in a directory structure with the page and file name,
but rather what appears to me MD5 checksums. When downloading an
attachment does Trac do an MD5 check?
Finally, when I save a page is the entire page contents stored in the
database again or just the changes. So having "1" then editing to "12"
would store "1" then "12" opposed to storing "1" then saying something
like "add 2 to the contents of the page". Then editing to just "2" would
store "1" then "12" then "2" opposed to storing "1" saying "add 2" then
"remove 1." I hope that makes sense...
