I cannot shut down the system right now, but later tonight I may try removing the references to blockdiag just to see whether I can get the plugin to load.
I just tried them, and the import statements you provided both work from the shell. I did install blockdiag before TracBlockdiag. And, blockdiag itself works fine from a command shell using its script wrapper. Are there any restrictions on the Python modules Trac will load that would make its context different from that of the blockdiag script wrapper?
