For the most part you can ignore the micro version number, i.e. the ".10"
in 1.0.10, when looking for Trac plugins. You mainly need to look for
plugins compatible with Trac 1.0.

Trac version numbers have progressed as: 0.10, 0.11, 0.12, 1.0

Trac 1.1.x is a preview release for the next major release, 1.2. The things
to be aware of in that release are explained on the TracDownloads page (1).

Much of the time a plugin created for 0.10 will not work with Trac 0.11 and
higher because Trac switched from ClearSilver to Genshi as the templating
system. Many plugins created for Trac 0.11 will work with Trac 0.12 and 1.0.

I suggest setting up an environment running with TracStandalone in order to
test out plugins before installing them in your production environment.
However, you can also get a lot of information about plugins just by
looking at their development history. If there is recent repository
activity, the plugin probably works with Trac 1.0.

Also, the tags on a plugin page (lower right corner) should indicate which
versions of Trac the plugin is compatible with. Sometimes the tags on a
page haven't been updated. If you are unsure, feel free to post a question
here to ask.
