Unfortunately because of company restrictions, I cannot use a free counter
where the count is store on a site or has any potential of accessing our
network. So it will have to be totally internal.

My IT department has instituted a new helpdesk process that uses a second
trac environment as a knowledge base. My end users should search the
knowledge base before opening a ticket. I wanted to see if anyone is
actually looking at the knowledge base site or skipping the steps and going
straight to opening tickets.
