Yes, you can do that, too. Build even trac itself uses a handmade custom ChangeLog page [1] to summarize all changes ;-)

I just found that I had more than once the need to have more information inlined into my page than just link to the ticket. So it would be a good idea to refer to specific properties of the target object, e.g . the summary of the ticket by e.g. writing "#1:summary" or "ticket:1:summary" or any other feasible way. (BTW: an attachment of ticket can be specified e.g. with "attachment:ticket:944:attachment")

Thanks for the answer. Yes, I'm looking for exact this information, but included into the page itself. The problem with the hovering is that you

need to go to every link and wait until the information appears. Also printing of the page will loose this information. Consider a printed version of the Changelog page (http://projects.edgewall.com/trac/wiki/ChangeLog). Without the live trac environment you'll have no information about what was fixed, only the ticket number.
