Title: Format of notification emails
Hi Christian,

when you don't want to touch the sourcecode you have to change the default font for unicode in Outlook to an non-proportional font. Go in Outlook under options to email format and then to international fonts. Then you select unicode and select there as proportional font e.g. CourierNew. That worked for me.

Betreff: [Trac] Format of notification emails

Hi,

the company standard email client Outlook 2000 (...) refuses to display trac notification emails as "plain text". trac sends mail formatted as "multipart/mixed" with the parts formatted as "text/plain" which should be ok for most clients, but Outlook doesn't recognize those mails as plain text and uses a proportional font.

When I send mail from another system using the text/plain encoding, it works. Any idea how I could make our trac 0.9.3 installations send text mail without patching the source code?

Kind regards
