version: 0.93

I have multiple projects, each with a domain, served via tracd on a apache server.

-

tracd -d -p 9999 /proj1.org/trac/proj1 /proj2.org/trac/proj2

Those projects become available as (using just the roadmap link for demo):

proj1.org/proj1/roadmap
proj2.org/proj2/roadmap

But I dislike the redundant parts

-

This one _could_ work by installing the project directly into /proj1.org/trac and /proj2.org/trac.
tracd -d -p 9999 /proj1.org/trac /proj2.org/trac

proj1.org/trac/roadmap
proj2.org/trac/roadmap

But it does not work, as trac uses the project-name to distinguish different projects and would have here only one project "trac".

-

So I use this:

tracd -d -p 9999 /proj1.org/trac/proj1 /proj2.org/trac/proj2

and want this:

proj1.org/roadmap
proj2.org/roadmap

Can this be solved with rewrite-rules?

(.htaccess file in html-root)

RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^(.*) http://proj1.org:9999/proj1/$1 [P]
RewriteRule ^(.*) http://proj2.org:9999/proj2/$1 [P]

something like this.

-

Or is ther any other solution?

.
