Since we're bandying around various solutions: I wrote a mod_python auth handler that uses either PAM or MailMan to authenticate people.
That allows my mailman people to automatically be authenticated in trac. ^_^ Warning: This is really crappy code at the moment...it evolved as I learned PAM, but it does work and the PAM rules hinder dictionary attacks like it would via SSH or SSL Telnet: http://trac.gerf.org/gerf/browser/mod_python/gerf_auth.py Ciao! -- Behold, the fool saith, "Put not all thine eggs in the one basket"--which is but a manner of saying, "Scatter your money and your attention;" but the wise man saith, "Put all your eggs in the one basket and--WATCH THAT BASKET." -- Mark Twain, "Pudd'nhead Wilson's Calendar" The Doctor What: Un-Humble http://docwhat.gerf.org/ docwhat *at* gerf *dot* org KF6VNC _______________________________________________ Trac mailing list [email protected] http://lists.edgewall.com/mailman/listinfo/trac
