Hi,

I don't know if this is a known issue - I thought it has been
definitely fixed, but in the last 3 weeks, I got 3 or 4 times the
outrageous 'database is locked' issue while attempting to access a
ticket (from a direct URL posted in trac ticket notification) on
projects.edgewall.com/trac.

cmlenz restarted one of those times, and said a bot was going nuts on the
site. My vote is for PostgreSQL, to handle the load.

This does not seem to be purely load-induced. Several times a week, our trac
instance gets into some kind of state where any request at all will result in
this error. We are using mod_python and do not have particularly high load.
The error happens on every request until apache is restarted.
