We generally use FireFox 1.5 internally but a few of our staff seem reluctant to "think in new ways" and are experiencing problems with MS-IE and trac-0.9.4. As I cannot seem to find anything related to this via google, I wonder if any of the rest of you have had similar experiences and could shed some light as to what is going on?
The difficulty appears related to javascript, as whenever I press on an "edit this page" button in MS-IE I get: ----> https://xxxx.harte-lyne.ca/wiki/WikiStart?action=edit The page cannot be found The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Please try the following: If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly. Open the xxxx.harte-lyne.ca home page, and then look for links to the information you want. Click the Back button to try another link. Click Search to look for information on the Internet. HTTP 400 - Bad Request Internet Explorer <---- I thought that this might have been caused by some MS-IE security setting or other, but I added my trac url to the list of trusted sites and turned off just about everything I could think of that would limit what the browser would accept. This had no effect. Any ideas? Going without MS-IE support is ok for me but poses some discomfort for others and, as in the nature of things hierarchical, their discomfort is now my discomfort.
