I'd installed Trac 0.10dev to checkout newest improvements on the
notification system. Especially, what I was looking for is a lookup
implementation on the session table to check back the user's email
address by its username.
In our project, we do not know each and every email address, we know
only usernames. It's a need to be notified when a ticket is
created/modified by a user, specifiying the username either as a
reporter or as an assigned.
There was a thread "Trac session properties and email notification"
started by Tim Alsop, who was asking for the same feature from v0.8.4,
and it was told that 0.9 will be supporting it. However, it is not
working with current trunk.
Is there any progress on this? Is there any patch to try?
Any help is appreciated.
