Never mind, I know where you're coming from (I do software
development for a living too :P). Adding back manually a token file
took out the error and so I could 'delete' it for good.

Possibly, but one should know that manually hacking any system is
bound to end up in causing unanticipated problems. It's unfeasible
to code trac such that it can catch every error that might be
caused by an admin hacking away at it's internals :)
