It's not that bad. It's only a problem if developers are committing mixed line endings. Anyway, you can set the svn:eol-style on a whole lot of files something like this: $ svn checkout $REPOS $ find -name '*.txt' | xargs svn propset svn:eol-style LF $ svn commit -m 'Set svn:eol-style for all text files.'
