Seems to me that there is no difference in the versions in use.
Only difference is the location of the pysqlite-egg. But doesn't seem to
be any version issues. 
An ls -al on the files outputs
-rw-------  1 www users 52131 Mar 31 19:15 _sqlite.so 
on both of them.
