Hi All,

I am pretty new to trac and am a packager for Mac OSX fink packages. I have created a fink package for pysqlite2. pysqlite (1.0) has been in fink for a long time and I am guessing that a lot of users have trac running with sqlite2 dbs. If I shove a pysqlite2 package into the tree and existing trac setups have it installed, I this will break their trac setup.

The backend looks like it tries pysqlite2 first without looking at the database format. Will this fall back to the older import sqlite if the db fails to load? I really don't want to cause trouble with existing trac systems running from fink packages.

Thoughts or suggestions?

THANKS!
-kurt
