I was thinking that an address on the trac server could be set up with
procmail to process the email as necessary, and if they were coming
from an application the format would be consistent. The question is
then the best way to get it into trac. It should be possible to pass
the email from procmail to a perl script that made a URL request just
like it came form the trac web pages. I was wondering if there a
better way to access the ticket submission functions if you already
have info on the server.
