Okay, I fixed that, and the Apache access_log now shows the banner
served out of /trac-htdocs. All of which is very nice, but it didn't
solve the problem; see enclosed.

Sorry to be picky about that, but before thinking about other possible
causes
to your problem, really do avoid the usage of the Chrome component.
