To help manage my business, I've begun setting up Tracs for each of
our clients and other major projects... this is going along
swimmingly, thank you very much! All of these Tracs use the same SVN
repository, so the open source code that needs to be cross-pollinated
between projects can be easily managed. SVN has all the permission
capabilities I need to make sure that clients only see and/or modify
the parts they're supposed to, and I'm sharing the same auth files
with Trac. Superb!

However, I anticipate a problem with ticket and milestone management.
Thes data are not shared across Tracs in the same way that the SVN
repository is, so IIUC there will be no easy way to get a report of
all the most urgent outstanding tasks, across projects, or get a
report of all the tasks that are assigned to me, or find out which
milestones are coming due next. Of course if I put everything in the
same Trac, I can get those reports, but then IIUC I can't easily
control client access to the wiki pages, tickets, and milestones that
they're supposed to see and modify.

Has anyone thought about this? Is there a solution out there already?

Thanks in advance, and thanks to the Trac developers for a great tool.
