Looking at the error message: "TracError: The user root requires read _and_ write permission to the database file /var/trac/db/trac.db and the directory it is located in."
What are the permissions of these file + directory ? It also seems weird that your server (Apache) is running as root: it's a receipe for disaster. I don't know Suse10, but is there no dedicated "user" for the web server ?
