I have tried this and had no luck. The log files didn't display anything and I still get the same error. I think I'm going to try installing everything from scratch rather than trying to upgrade.

now I have trac-admin version 0.9.5
and cgi-bin htdocs templates trac wiki-default were all recreated
then I was getting that blank error
so I tried installing sqlite3
and upgrading the database
then I tried installing clearsilver

I'm still getting the same error and don't know where to go from
here. Is it possible that it's a problem with using a different
python version? I have both versions installed now, python 2.2.2 and
2.3.3.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
