No, SQLite3/pysqlite2 have been the default since they were added in
0.9.  You probably just happened to install pysqlite2 around the same
time you upgraded Trac.

In response to the original post, I think you can take the lack of
response as an indication that the 0.10 trunk has become pretty stable.
An RC release should be made in the near future, but if you're
interested in trying out the trunk I think you'll be pretty safe.
