Trac's "meta-plugin" component architecture makes it a pretty usable
mini-framework - a bit low-level, but that's not such a bad thing. I'm
currently writing a couple plugins for our internal needs - reusing the
wiki engine -, and really like the way it works. There already are some
nice plugins like TracTags (delicious-like tagging engine) and TracBlog.
FWIW, I'm thinking about using Trac as the base for other developments,
including my own CMS system.
