There's no explicit association between users in Subversion and Trac, though generally people do use the same names. It sounds like you may be the only user, in which case you probably aren't using authz, but if you are you'd need to set the same permissions for both user names, since they're enforced separately by Trac and SVN.
You're correct -- I am the only user, and I am not using authz. I'm a computer science student, using Trac for my senior project. I've been keeping my repository on my server and making commits with my username Arthaey. But I would prefer to present my Trac project to my advisor with the school login name. Thus, I was hoping I could tell Trac to equate the subversion user Arthaey with the Trac username that is the same as my school username. Ideally, Trac would silently display my school username everywhere it saw the subversion username Arthaey. I realize this is a rather specialized case. Is there a file I could hack to make my copy of Trac do this text replacement cleanly everywhere (including search)? -- AA http://conlang.arthaey.com _______________________________________________ Trac mailing list [email protected] http://lists.edgewall.com/mailman/listinfo/trac
