Hi, it was suggested to me via e-mail to run under cgi/fastcgi. This
does indeed work, but I'm still confused as to why the mod_python
solution doesn't work.
Also, regarding FastCGI, I can see the advantages of mod_python over
standard CGI (speed) but what are the advantages of mod_python over
FastCGI? The speed of FastCGI seems as quick over a remote connection
for me for my trac database.

I was running trac-0.9.4 installed via fink on OS X successfully. I
have recently re-installed the machine it was running on for various
reasons. I also switched to DarwinPorts at the same time and did a fresh
install for apache/svn/trac etc and now see the errors others are seeing.
