And some things, like ticket statuses etc. still needs to be in English due internals of Trac.
Not with the french translation, but it should be considered as a hack: Trac does not support localisation/internationalisation yet. This is a feature planned for http://trac.edgewall.org/milestone/0.11
IIRC there is old ticket and talks about replacing clearsilver with more robust, I8N supportive templating system.
