trac runs as a standalone application, a UI shown in this trac and the
ability to sync all local changes back into the main repo ... This would
be increadible for all those people out in the world, how do not have
internet access when they really need it.

I'm experimenting with two things, using Trac 0.9.6:
- Integration with dutchpipe.org (see avatars of
developers using trac);
- "Application look" in classic grey style (I know,
I know, but I like those kind of interfaces);
The goal is to see if extra usability can be obtained.
It's not 100% yet but getting there. This beta was
tested for Firefox 1.5 and IE 6.
