Hmm, if you are using 0.10 I could whip something up to take care of that. Barring that you will need to make a new plugin and change the default_handler in trac.ini. If you are interested in the first option you can find on #trac as coderanger.

Enabling Wiki makes it appear in searches which they don't want here... In fact they don't want any trails of Wiki as they are not going to use at at all, but they do want a portal-type home page that would redirect users to view tickets, create a new ticket etc. with some explanation of basic steps...So is it possible to enable Wiki then but not allow it to appear in
searches?

Thanks.

Subject: Re: [Trac] Custom home page?

Why not leave the wiki module enabled and simply not give your users
anything other than WIKI_VIEW?

Hello,

Is there any relatively simple way to provide a custom "home" page
for Trac
when Wiki module is disabled? Like having the first navigation item
read
Home, and the home page would have some general info pretty much
like it is
now when Wiki is enabled? Do I need to create both a new Python
class and a
new .cs template for that?

Thanks.
Vladimir
