Ezio Melotti <ezio.melo...@gmail.com> added the comment: Remembering the folded/unfolded position is not difficult (like sphinx does with the sidebar in the py3k doc), so that's a way to have a per-user option without having to configure anything. I also don't think some users are opposed to *any* kind of folding, depending on what is folded and the users, there might be positive or negative reactions, and the difficult part is to find a balance. (Also reactions to changes are often negative, regardless of the kind of change. Giving some time to get used to new features is usually a good idea.)
Another possible solution is to make the end key jump to the last message, rather than the end of the page. I'll wait for a few more opinions and see. _______________________________________________________ PSF Meta Tracker <metatrac...@psf.upfronthosting.co.za> <http://psf.upfronthosting.co.za/roundup/meta/issue401> _______________________________________________________ _______________________________________________ Tracker-discuss mailing list Tracker-discuss@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/tracker-discuss
