Georg Brandl <g.bra...@gmx.net> added the comment: If you feel the need to correct a typo, you can do it with a follow-up post. The problem is that while you may only use this rationally, other users will use it in harmful ways.
Following a tracker issue history can be confusing enough without having to assume that a reply doesn't refer to the current text of a message, but a previous revision. And as Martin says, if the email notifications differ from the post you see when opening the issue in the web interface, that's just as annoying and confusing. ---------- nosy: +gbrandl status: chatting -> resolved _______________________________________________________ PSF Meta Tracker <metatrac...@psf.upfronthosting.co.za> <http://psf.upfronthosting.co.za/roundup/meta/issue403> _______________________________________________________ _______________________________________________ Tracker-discuss mailing list Tracker-discuss@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/tracker-discuss
