The roundup issue [0], fixes a traceback generated while accessing e.g. /msg1/, whereas our issue [1] was about accessing files. The two exceptions are different though, so there might be two different issues involved.
One reason to keep the roundup version is that it will make future merges easier -- assuming that it solve the problem. I'll try to figure out if this is the case or not.
