It would be also possible to write "Issue closed by *username*, on *date-time*." but that's more involved (it needs some grepping through the issue history and an extension to do it -- the roundup-summary script has something similar). It's also possible to add an orange "pending" (and possibly a green "open"), but that will just end up duplicating the information that it's already in the status field IMHO.
