the gstreamer extractor in 0.5.2 has a 5 second timeout + 
tracker-extract has a 10 second timeout whereby its terminated if its stuck

Are you definitely using 0.5.2? (it will say at top of log file in .Tracker)

if you are using 0.5.2, can you send me off list one of the ogg files in 
question?
