Ok... I'm asking this only to know if in the Doc section I have pointed to the more up to date deb compiled with tracker support. We can suggest to people to switch their distro to the development one, that, if I have understood correctly, would ship an already integrated nautilus. (At least Fedora/Debian/Ubuntu). Gentoo should do the trick compiling by the source :) > With regard to the deskbar integration, I still have not decided yet, > if the tracker package should ship the python script or if I contact > the deskbar-applet maintainer, so he includes it into the > desbar-applet package directly. Ok... But maybe also the development of this script should be integrated in the deskbar development trunk and not shipped with tracker tarball? > > So when this is all in place, there is nothing really one has to do, > to get the full tracker integration into Gnome. > A simple "apt-get install tracker" and optionally "apt-get install > tracker-search-tool" is all there is to be done. > > Michael What about the QT GUI? There are any release/debs/rpms around? I haven't seen any tarball too! I've lost some announcement? _______________________________________________ tracker-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/tracker-list
