I just wanted to mention that I recently participated in the discussion for the new Compiz website.
In that discussion may people suggested a CMS to solve a whole heap of problems, but could offer no substantial justification why it was needed, or in the Compiz case, what problems a CMS solved that could not be solved with a wiki. I can understand if one of the benefits is "easy to skin", but I dont think things like "easy to edit, collaborative, etc" are all that revolutionary. I think those with web developer ability should concentrate on making the current tracker page attractive, and putting the rapidly changing information on the GNOME wiki. I am just not a fan of unneeded complexity...... John _______________________________________________ tracker-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/tracker-list
