I dont consider them as significant competition, yet!

if they are anything more than a dedicated indexer (albeit a really slow
indexer by the looks of it) then perhaps but I bet they will take one
look at the xesam metadata onto and shriek!

At best they might implement the API although that wont suffice for more
sophisticated stuff of course.


I they just implement the api it will be a trivial matter to map the Google
Desktop ontology to the xesam one (or not trivial, but doable). But I still
doubt that we will get even that.
