Thanks, Ivan. I found a solution with a batch conversion macro for OpenOffice.org which will create .odt files from .rtf files in a selected folder. It's called DocConverter at http://www.ooomacros.org/user.php#95532. It's really better for me to keep them as .odt anyway. Tracker is awesome! I'm migrating away from filing things and just using the search. Anita PS: I just realized that my reply to Ivan's message did not go to the list. I've always wondered why Mailman is set to reply to Sender rather than list by default.
