Hello everyone, I have setup a new project on gitorius [1], created a new branch called miner-rss and imported the latest version of our miner into tracker tree. I made it optional, if configure can find libgrss miner-rss is automatically enabled.
We are waiting for your comments. If there is something to correct please send me a private mail. If you approve this, Roberto and me can proceed with request of Gnome's account, to continue the work on your repository. Thanks, Michele [1] http://gitorious.org/tracker-miner-rss On Wed, Jan 27, 2010 at 1:38 AM, Philip Van Hoof <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hey Roberto, > > Would you guys be interested in getting this piece of software into > Tracker's repository and project? > > Perhaps you prefer to manage and maintain it yourself outside of > Tracker's tree? > > But just for your information do I think, and I bet the other team > members too, that getting your miner under the umbrella of the Tracker > project and into its repository might be a win-win for both teams and > more importantly our users. > > Let us know what you think. > > > Cheers, > > > Philip > > On Wed, 2010-01-27 at 01:12 +0100, Roberto -MadBob- Guido wrote: >> This is just an update about tracker-miner-rss effort, already mentioned >> in this list some time ago. >> >> Website is here: >> http://rss-miner.barberaware.org/ >> >> SVN is there: >> http://barberaware.org/plugins/scmsvn/viewcvs.php/?root=rss-miner >> >> Last release (0.3) here: >> http://barberaware.org/frs/download.php/40/trackerminerrss-0.3.0.tar.gz >> >> Since 0.2 we (Michele and me) have just dropped dependency from rss-glib >> [1] due some limitation found, and created our own Glib-oriented feeds >> handling library, libgrss, starting from the code of Liferea [2] and >> adding nice stuffs such as a PubSub [3] subscriber implementation.
