hi, In the stable releases, you can set the XDG variables to choose the db location. Take into account that you need to start the processes manually. If dbus activates the process, it won't read your environment variables!
In master we use gsettings. In that case check dconf-info, and gsettings get/set regards ivan On 4/28/11, Adrien Bustany <[email protected]> wrote: > On Thu, 28 Apr 2011 17:08:43 +0300, Alexandru Tataru wrote: >> Hello, >> >> I would like to know if it is possible in a simple way to change >> the tracker database location. >> I know that database informations are stored in >> ~/.cache/tracker/... but is there any way to change this location to >> say ~/tmp/databases/tracker/... >> >> Thank you! > > You can use the XDG_* environment variables to change the cache and > data directories, that will then be used by Tracker. > > Cheers > > Adrien > _______________________________________________ > tracker-list mailing list > [email protected] > http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/tracker-list > _______________________________________________ tracker-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/tracker-list
