Hi,
I already studied the question and noticed that the size of the database
could be reduced a lot by not storing the plain text of each document if
your are not interested by FTS.

Philip, it is probably worth pointing out that this is unlikely to hit
0.10.x (unless there's been some change in the ideas here since I last
looked at them).
That's right. Although the current idea that we have in mind stays
backward compatible with the old journal format. So that means that we
could or might bring it to the 0.10 branch if we wanted to.
Notwithstanding is it probably better to keep the improvement to 0.11
only. Indeed.
