No it wasn't, thanks for noticing. I was checking the log, seems we introduced this in 0.14.2.
The former name was quite confusing, since we don't delete files on the disk.
There's little we can do about it now though sadly. Luckily it's more of an internal API so shouldn't affect too many people.
