I think you mean "-rs", the -r removes all indexes, the -s starts
indexing ;) -k kills (SIGKILL) all tracker processes.

You can use:
utils/ontology/ontology-validator -o /path/to/my/ontology
And it will check that you have your affairs in order ;)
