I think there are instructions out there somewhere, but what you need is 
the Freescale CodeWarrior for Microcontrollers package.  You'll need the 
full version (you can get a free eval) to compile the T2 code.

You can find the SVN repository at www.argentdata.com/community. 
TortoiseSVN is what I use to access it.  You'll find the SVN link on the 
Freepository site.

Bulletins should show up.  I know I've seen one or two while driving around.

I finally got around to semi-permanently installing a T2-301 in my 
Pathfinder with a decent antenna.  You can see my trip up 101 to San 
Francisco over the weekend, and back down highway 1.  Coverage still 
sucks between Paso Robles and King City, and along the coast from Big 
Sur to San Simeon a digipeater would have to be offshore to get any 
coverage, but other than that it did quite well at 5 watts.

Now to fix my IGate...
