Wasn't sure which group would be more appropriate for posting a GTRANS question, but it looks like the T2 group has more GTRANS traffic than the OT group.
Anyhoo... finally got around to using my GTRANS cable last weekend, and it worked very well - my D700 received GPS data, my packets went out, others' packets came in and were plotted on my Nuvi 350. Just what I wanted. Unfortunately, I received a popup on the 350 every couple of minutes saying "Accessory is not supported". This continued all weekend. I had to keep poking the 350 to make the message go away. I have waypoint length set to 9 in the D700, and experimented with values as low as 6 but still received the popup. I see another post where someone mentions this error message in relation to being digi'ed. I did not watch for that specifically, but the timing seems about right for that to have been a factor.
