Hi, I really struggle to find information, so I hope somebody can give me some tips and directions regard these issues:
1) I have finally got my Tracker2 on air from my cottage and want to connect the Peet Broos Ultimeter 100 to the OT2. Can I use a null-modem cable from the Ultimeter wire connection box to the OT2 and set the Ultimeter to report complete records? Is it so easy or do I need to do more configuration or other type of cable? 2) I plan to move the OT2 to a (very small) hill where I need to use battery as primary power supply. To save space in the installation and minimize power consumption I prefer to connect only the wind anemometer to the OT2, and get rid of the connection box and display. Is this possible ? 3) If 2) is possible, how do the wiring diagram from the wind 4-pin rj to the rs232 look like? Is it correct to assume that the anemometer needs 12V supply? Best 73's!
