I'm going to guess that the external temperature is the temperature
inside the shack because it's currently about zero degrees in Timmins.

Have you thought about sending the temperature and voltage as
telemetry rather than embedded in the comment? If you do that, then
you can get historical data rather than just current information.

I'm just using the built-in telemetry available, but sending it as a
telemetry string rather than embedded in the comment.

Also, what's with the 6 hop path? Just trying to make your presence
felt? You're pretty much in an isolated area, so you never really get
out and clobber people, but it's still a bad precedent to set.
Digipeaters should never use WIDE1-1, as the digi should not need the
help of a low level home station to get into the digipeaters. If it
does, then it's pretty much a useless digipeater.

Digipeaters should always use one less hop than what is recommended
for the area, since the digipeater gets a "free first hop" due to the
fact that it IS the digipeater. I like to also use the alternate paths
option so that I don't flood the outlying network with excess noise,
while still keeping local updates at a decent rate.

I could probably drop a hop out of those outgoing paths... I forgot
that I set them up for one and two hops when I was configuring the
digi...

BTW, for everyone reading this, I'm not trying to be harsh, and only
offering suggestions as to ways of optimizing the operation of this
digipeater, and possibly configuring it to provide historical
telemetry data.
