I have a GTRANS cable (Kenwood style connector) that I've been using with a D700. I recently moved the main body of the D700 from the front of my car to the rear, and the cable no longer reaches.
Can I just get a 6' 2.5mm stereo extension cable and plug it in? Any problems with running serial data that far? Just checking to see if that's likely to work before I buy a cable. Thanks! Kevin KB9MQU
