Good Morning All, I'm thinking about purchasing a Kenwood TM-V71A and a Tracker2 to use with an FMI-capable Garmin device. This seems like an excellent solution for multi-purpose mobile APRS use.
Question: if the user has selected the left band to be used to transmit while band B is setup to be used by the data port and a Tracker2, what is the behaviour? 1. When the user is transmitting on the left band, will the data transmissions be ignored? 2. When the data port is being used to transmit, what happens when the user engages the PTT? Any other comments or suggestions on this setup are very welcome. Thank you, A.
