The contract manufacturer, Electronic Technical Services in Albuquerque, has been stringing me along for weeks with promises that they've got a batch almost ready to ship. I suspect they may be having other problems, since they're now on a 4-day work week.
Last week the production manager told me he was coming in on Friday to work on the GTRANS job himself and would have something shipped out next-day. It's Wednesday now and I haven't got anything. I just sent them an ultimatum, to get finished boards to me by the end of the week or face cancellation of the job and the return of all parts and tooling. If I can get everything back, at least I have a chance of getting them done locally. Without the mini-B pigtails we can't do anything, and the next batch won't ship from Taiwan until after Dayton.
