I talked to guy from the ARRL about that last year. He was supposed to
get back to me for more infornation, but never did. That's his loss...

We've been doing something just like that for a few years now at
www.nwham.com. The only difference is that our information is
accurate, whereas the ARRL repeater directory is rife with errors.

There are a bunch of us moderators who work continuously to try to
keep the database as accurate as possible. I know the section I look
after (VE6) isn't yet perfect, but some repeater operators are not
quite forthcoming with information.

We are always looking for more moderators in areas not yet
incorporated. Having local moderators is the key, as it helps to have
someone with local knowledge and contacts in order to provide the best
quality data.
