Scott has a balloon aloft currently, http://aprs.fi/n1vg-11.

I love the fact that we have so many cool toys to play with. I'm
lazing about on my couch 2300 km away in Canada, able to watch the
balloon travel via packets being reported by hardware made in the USA
along the track prediction that I ran on a website in England, via the
kml feed from Finland. I have aprs.fi running tracking the balloon, as
well as aprsisce/32 tracking, and I'm able to send messages to Scott
while he's on the road between Maricopa and Bakersfield.

What a great group effort... it's definitely a worldwide hobby!

Thanks to everyone who has had a hand in creating all the tools that
make this possible, and all the people that make the APRS-IS stream,
keep on running!
